Individual Service Workers – Support and Empower Living Fundamentals (SELF) Program (York & Adams County)

Help individuals live as independently as possible in the community when you take on a position in the SELF program. Explore opportunities in hands-on education to assist consumer-directed learning in regard to enhancing the level of independence in all areas of daily living skills. This is a part-time position. Work hours are flexible and may include evening and weekend hours based on consumer needs. Minimum requirements: HS diploma/GED. Must be at least 18 years old, possess valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and have reliable transportation. Current physical and Mantoux (TB) test required. PA State Police background check, Act 33 and/or FBI clearances.

Residential Service Workers (York & Hanover locations)

Share your compassionate nature and home management skills by providing “hands-on’ services and support to enable individuals with Intellectual Disabilities to live as independently as possible in a shared residential setting. RSWs are responsible for carrying out all day-to-day duties necessary for the residential programs to operate smoothly. Full- and part-time positions available throughout York County; second and third shifts, and floater shifts available. Minimum requirements: HS diploma/GED. Must be at least 18 years old, possess valid driver’s license for two years, insurable driving record and have reliable transportation; current physical and Mantoux (TB) test; and Act 33 and PA State Police background check.

Re-Source York Sales Associate

Do you have a positive attitude and a desire to deliver great customer service? Would you enjoy working in an encouraging environment?  Consider joining the Re-Source York team!   Duties may include: cashiering, assisting customers in our building products warehouse , loading/unloading vehicles, cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.  Minimum requirements : high school diploma or GED; good oral/written communication skills; ability to lift 30 lbs; and basic math skills. May occasionally assist driver with pick-ups and deliveries.  This is a part-time entry level position, starting at minimum wage.  Up to four shifts a week: must have Monday through Saturday availability, no nights, no Sundays.  Apply in person at our store at 161 E. Re-Source York Truck Driver

Bring your great driving record and good cheer to this part-time position as a donation pick-up and delivery driver for Re-Source York. This is a very physical job, requiring good overall health and the ability to lift and load at least 50 pounds repeatedly throughout a seven-hour work day. As a representative of our non-profit retail operation, the ideal candidate will possess excellent customer relations skills and a positive attitude. Driver will oversee (not perform) general maintenance of trucks and must be willing to assist in the stores as needed, as well. Position is currently about two days at 14 hours per week with potential to increase hours to three or four days per week.
