Donor Relations Diva (or Divo)

When it comes to shining star presentation, your name is at the top of the list . . . always aware that making a good impression (whether first or fiftieth) is of utmost importance. You pay attention to details that make those around you feel like they are seen, heard, and appreciated.

Does this describe you? Can you offer eight to 16 hours a week to help the development and community relations office of a York, PA-based non profit agency?

Duties include accurately entering all monetary and in-kind donations into our database and following up with each valued donor to express our sincere appreciation for their contribution, whether you’re sending a post card of acknowledgement, a handwritten thank you card, or creating a story board to feature the positive impact of a gift.

You will put your sparkling people-person attitude to use by occasionally meeting community members to accept donations, take photos, and write up press releases for local newspapers, as well as the agency’s online presence (Web site, Facebook page, and Twitter).

Working with development office staff, you will be an integral part of expressing heartfelt gratitude to the individuals, families and groups who invest in the vital work of improving the quality of living for local residents receiving services through Bell Socialization Services, Inc. programs.

This is currently a volunteer position, available to a conscientious person ready to make a difference.

Please send a letter of interest, resume, and two writing samples to: Averie Clark, Director of Community Relations & Development, aclark@bellsocialization.com
