Bed Race Cancelled Due to Virus

Due to concern for the health of our community, and declarations from both PA Governor Wolf and York City Mayor Helfrich recommending cancelation of large public gatherings and events, Bell Socialization Services has made the difficult decision to cancel the 5th annual Bell’s Big Bed Race originally scheduled for Saturday, April 4.

It’s disappointing to cancel the Bed Race, as it is one of Bell’s main fundraising events of the year, raising vital funds to support programs that help to provide a safe place to sleep for so many York and Adams County residents.

We thank our event sponsors, Mutual of America, RKL, Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital/UHS, Smith Village, and Collusion Tap Works for their generous support, and all the teams who signed up, ready to race to make a difference for their neighbors in need.  These contributions in support of Bell’s work are greatly appreciated.
