Give Local York 2019
York County’s second annual big give day, Give Local York, happens TODAY, Friday, May 3, 2019.
300 community benefit organizations are participating this year with a goal to raise a combined total of $3 million! A host of activities will be happening throughout the County, most of which can be found on the event web site at givelocalyork.org and at York365.com.
Bell Socialization Services is a registered Give Local York participant and gratefully welcomes your financial support on May 3.
In addition to making an online gift to Bell between 12:00 a.m. and 11:50 p.m. that day, you are invited to enjoy our GLY activities:
Lunch Time – Hot Dog Sales
Four local Weis Markets stores will be selling hot dog sandwiches with all proceeds benefiting Bell. Show your support by stopping by the Cape Horn, East York (White Street), Roosevelt, and Weigelstown locations.
First Friday in Downtown York is extra special on Give Day.
5 to 9 p.m. – Mental Health Awareness Month Art Show
Enjoy live entertainment and light refreshments as you take in the creative expressions of greater York/Hanover area residents around themes of resiliency, recovery, and moving forward. Note cards featuring artwork from previous years will be available for purchase.

5 to 9 p.m. – Make a Cape Activity
