Intellectual / Developmental Disability Services
Bell’s Intellectual/Developmental Disability (IDD) services are designed to help individuals, and their families, access resources to help service users to be as independent as possible in the community. Our programs encourage people to connect to opportunities that aid them in developing a range of life skills, work and community skills, and enjoying social experiences. Programs are staffed by trained direct care professionals. While all programs are monitored to maintain exceptional quality, the residential services program and adult training facility must also meet annual State licensing requirements.
Bell began offering IDD services in 1977 and has continued to develop innovative programming to help residents of York and Adams counties thrive.
If you have questions not answered through these links, please reach out to Theresa Franklin, director of IDD services at 717-848-5767, ext. 1300 or Angela Weaver, assistant director of IDD services, at ext. 1308.
