Turkey Traister Campaign is LIVE!
UPDATE: a generous donor is matching the first $2,000.00 of donations to help reach the $4,000.00 goal!
It’s time again for the annual Turkey Traister fundraiser! Spearheaded by Bell’s director of human resources, Kevin Traister, friends of Bell are encouraged to make a gift of support for the purchase of turkeys, fixin’s, and other needs for our programs’ holiday meals and activities.
Kevin has agreed that he will again donate one turkey ($20) for every five turkeys ($100) donated, up to $2,500. And to add a fun challenge this year, if a combined total of $4,000 is reached, he will dress like a turkey and parade around Central Market York to share the results!
With the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) currently in jeopardy, it is especially important to make sure the people we serve in Bell programs are receiving sufficient food and healthy meals.
