New Shelter

Bell Family Shelter has been a beacon of hope for unhoused families in York County, PA for 37 years, providing emergency temporary shelter and case management for people facing the stress and trauma of homelessness.

The majority of those in Bell Family Shelter are little ones; last year, the average age was 7.

The time has come to join together as a community to renovate and outfit a new building that will double Bell’s shelter capacity — safely housing 73 people each night and connecting families with support services each day.

Your gift to Bell’s Giving Shelter campaign will improve the lives of families in shelter with clean rooms, meals, laundry, and case management.  Your gift will help them navigate their pathway to living independently.
