Bell Annual Celebration: 2023
Once a year, typically on the first Tuesday of October, the extended Bell family comes together to share stories, celebrate achievements, and create meaningful connections to lift up our shared vision of a community where people are valued & respected and live with dignity.
You’re invited to join this year’s gathering, held at St. Matthew Lutheran Church on W. Market Street, York from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3, 2023.

Here’s what to expect:
- Casual Family Style Lunch – a great way to catch up with old friends and meet new people who, like you, are doing good in the world through their engagement with Bell.
- A Hat Trick? – Executive Director, Tony Schweitzer and Board President, Zak Wolpert will share highlights from the past year along with their aspirations and strategies for Bell’s future.
- Programs Spotlight – news, recognition, and a Special Report on the Bell Family Shelter Facilities Project
- Presentation of Annual Awards – recipients in each of our three service departments are nominated for Personal Achievement Awards by staff who witness the progress people are making as they work toward their goals for improved living; other awards include the Ivan G. Hileman Employee award, the Pauline Whitacre and Margo Atwood Community Service Awards, the Ritz Patz Good Neighbor Award, and Business of the Year award!
There is no fee to attend but PRE-REGISTRATION is respectfully required and financial gifts of support are gratefully accepted.
