Burlington Stores Foundation Grant Empowers Families at Bell Family Shelter
We are deeply grateful to the Burlington Stores Foundation for their support, which helps families regain stability, dignity, and hope for the future.
Bell Family Shelter is honored to be named a recipient of a grant through the Burlington Stores Foundation. This special program offers Burlington Stores employees the opportunity to nominate organizations meaningful to them. This grant will directly support families as they rebuild their lives.
Many families arrive at the shelter with few belongings and face significant uncertainty. Our dedicated staff assists them in moving forward with compassionate case managers, encouragement, stability, and practical assistance.
The grant covers direct costs of care, including food, showers, laundry, medications, clothing, and maintaining a clean and secure facility. With around 70 people staying at the shelter each night, these essential services represent a significant investment in the well-being of every family we serve.
To put a small part of this in perspective: our shelter provides about 60 showers a day and completes around 100 loads of laundry each week—just two examples of the daily needs this funding helps meet.
