We (Heart) Direct Support Professionals
Kevin Stewart was looking for work when he moved to York and heard from a neighbor about openings at Bell. Growing up with a brother who lived with intellectual disabilities, Kevin applied for a position as a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Bell’s ID group homes and says “I haven’t looked back since.” He’s been here 17 years.
Kevin’s schedule is flexible. Right now he’s working seven days on/seven off and likes being part of a team that keeps the house running smoothly. “You need to have the heart for this kind of work,” Kevin shares, “and be willing to speak up for people and help them find their own voice.”
Providing direct care services and support in a shared residential setting, like Kevin does, enables people to improve their quality of life in our community. If you or someone you know is looking for meaningful work, APPLY NOW. Positions are available throughout York and Adams County.
