Welcoming David Chiaverini to Bell’s Board of Directors

“I easily put myself in other people’s shoes, and as a result, I feel compelled to use my resources to create opportunities. Being part of a mission bigger than myself allows me to give back in a small way to enrich the lives of others.”
Bell Socialization Services is thrilled to welcome David Chiaverini to our Board of Directors. David brings a wealth of professional experience, a strong sense of community, and a passion for creating opportunities for others.
He has spent most of his career in the insurance industry as a commercial lines broker. In his role as a Business Insurance Executive with McConkey Insurance & Benefits, he helps organizations of all sizes manage risk thoughtfully while fostering strong relationships between clients and insurance companies.
While David has long supported Bell’s mission, it was the people behind the organization who inspired him to take on a larger role.
“I have always believed in Bell’s mission, but it is the enthusiasm of the people I know personally at Bell that sealed the deal,” David shared. He credits current board members, along with Executive Director Tony Schweitzer and Director of Community Engagement Averie Clark, as meaningful influences in his decision to join the Board.
David’s connection to Bell became especially significant during our recent Annual Celebration. One moment in particular left a lasting impression.
“When I attended the 2025 Annual Celebration and saw Christine Myers receive a Personal Achievement Award, it really touched my heart. She purchased her own car and pursued her own apartment. Her courage, persistence, and willingness to accept help in achieving her goals were inspiring to me,” David explained.
Experiences like this reflect his personal commitment to service and community.
“I easily put myself in other people’s shoes, and as a result, I feel compelled to use my resources to create opportunities. Being part of a mission bigger than myself allows me to give back in a small way to enrich the lives of others,” David shared.
As he begins his service on Bell’s Board of Directors, David says, “I look forward to having the chance to make an impact while working with fellow board members, some of whom I already know and greatly respect.”
Outside of his professional and volunteer work, David enjoys audio narration, bringing authors’ stories to life, and he also hosts a podcast.
Let’s welcome David Chiaverini to our Board of Directors and look forward to the insight, leadership, and heart he will bring to our organization.
