Congratulations to Yvette Engel for being awarded the Ivan G. Hileman Award!
Yvette has dedicated 18 years to Bell. From starting as a Resident Counselor to Program Coordinator of our Launch Program, she embodies Bell’s mission and values daily. Yvette always rises to the challenge of overseeing a complex program with many residents, staff, and regulations imposed by the state, county, and city.
Yvette leads with a commitment to person-first services and strong recovery principles. This past year, her program was renamed Launch, reflecting the philosophy Yvette and her team embrace as they assist people in their recovery journey. Even when challenges arise, Yvette collaborates with her staff and community partners to create positive changes for both consumers and her team.
