Introducing to the Bell Board of Directors: CarrieAnn Frolio

CarrieAnn Frolio is no stranger to Bell. She worked for Bell part-time through college as an individual support in the IDD program, where she continued to work after graduating. Years after leaving Bell, she met with executive director Tony Schweitzer about the opening of a new shelter and inquired about participating on the board of directors, having just ended a six-year service with the York County Children’s Advocacy Center. She was invited to a board meeting, and the rest is history.

CarrieAnn is ecstatic to return to the Bell family as a board member and is meeting her new opportunity with enthusiasm. “I am looking forward to learning about the evolution and growth of Bell as an organization since I left many years ago and supporting Tony and the team in their work,” she says. “I am enjoying meeting the board and Bell team members.”

Aside from serving on the board of directors, CarrieAnn is the Vice President of Strategic Initiatives at Family First Health where she’s been supporting local community health programs for the past ten years. She also serves as Chair of the Children’s Home of York Board of Directors and raises her two teenagers, a daughter entering her senior year and a son entering his freshman year at York Suburban, with her husband. As an active member of the community, CarrieAnn highly recommends following her lead. “Board service is very rewarding, and no matter who you are or what your experience is, you will bring expertise to an organization when you serve on a board. Your voice matters.”
