Airis Mercado Receives an Outstanding Performance Award

Let’s celebrate Airis Mercado, the Program Coordinator of MH Supported Housing, for receiving an Outstanding Performance Award!
Lori, Assistant Director of Mental Health Services, commended Airis, stating, “She filled in when a position in her program became vacant and ensured that clients made it to doctors’ appointments, went grocery shopping, and attended social events through the department. Program Coordinators often step in when positions are vacant, but what sets Airis apart is that she took on extra responsibilities during a planned restructuring. Additionally, she has been working hard to steer her program in a new direction.”
“Airis has brought in several new clients to Supported Housing, assisting those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness with housing applications and temporary housing,” Lori continued, “She has a clear vision for the program and has earned her SOAR Certificate while managing additional work with caseloads. Despite the challenges, Airis remains resilient and comes to work with a smile, ready to tackle the next challenge.”
