Four Bikes Donated to Bell Family Shelter by Cat Logistics
Four sparkling, brand-new bikes were delivered to Bell Family Shelter this August in time to be enjoyed by some very lucky children in residence! The kind folks from Cat Logistics, the local distribution center and entry point for European imports for the Caterpillar Corporation, built the bikes during a team building event held in Baltimore over the summer. As part of “America’s Strategy Session,” participants from different Caterpillar locations formed four teams of four members each and were tasked with solving riddles in order to “win” the parts needed to construct the bicycles.
The winning bikes were then donated to Bell Family Shelter as part of Cat Logistics’ effort to support the York community. Thank you, Cat Logistics and the great team of builders for your very generous contribution – know that you were able to provide several children with many hours of bicycling enjoyment!
