Summer Intern Makes an Impact

Over the summer, Bell’s Community Engagement Team has had a phenomenal intern, Elise, who has brought so much positive energy to each task and has immersed herself in experiencing Bell’s amazing service programs that we offer the community.
Elise said, “I wanted to spend my summer engaging with my community on a local level. I was so impressed with Bell’s mission. Growing up in York, I always thought that Bell was just the brick building on the corner of George and Princess. In reality, Bell is scattered all throughout York County”
She continued, “I am in awe of the work that is accomplished day in and day out. Bell and the family of employees who work there have the biggest hearts to help increase equity, reduce stigma, and restore lives. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with such an admirable group of people.”
Janel, Bell’s Outreach Coordinator, said, “Elise has been a breath of fresh air. She came in with so many great ideas. Her youthful enthusiasm has been contagious. She has been delightful to work with and she fit right in at Bell. We will miss her enthusiasm and wish her the best of luck.”
Thank you Elise for spending your summer with us. We will miss you but are excited for the adventures that you have ahead of you. You have made such a positive impact at Bell and will always be part of the Bell Family. We wish you all of the best in school and in all of the opportunities that await you!
