Thank You, Diane: A Legacy of Compassion and Leadership

Diane Krasner with Board President Scott Thomassy and Executive Director Tony Schweitzer.
With gratitude, we thank Diane Krasner for her dedication and service. In 2020, Diane joined our Board of Directors, bringing with her a wealth of professional expertise and a heart full of compassion.
Serving as Secretary of the Board, Chair of the Bylaws Committee, and an active member of our Giving Shelter Capital Campaign Committee, Diane played an instrumental role in advancing Bell’s mission.
We may not have looked at the building that is now Bell Family Shelter’s new home if not for her thoughtful suggestion. Her help in establishing the Alumni Council, along with her ability to consistently bring a human touch to every endeavor, has left a lasting impression.
A longtime supporter of Bell Family Shelter, Diane has marked special milestones by making Adopt-a-Day gifts alongside her husband, David Welber. Their continued generosity offers tangible support to families experiencing homelessness.
As Diane steps down from the Board this month, we extend our heartfelt thanks for her dedication, thoughtful leadership, and meaningful contributions over the years. We know she will remain a strong supporter of Bell and its mission. Diane, you are “Good People.”
With decades of experience in nursing, Diane is a nationally recognized wound care specialist, respected legal expert witness, and founding member of the Coalition for At-Risk Skin (CARS). In honor of her service and passion for education, a copy of “Chronic Wound Care: The Essentials,” edited by Diane, will be donated to York College—ensuring her legacy continues to educate and inspire.
Diane, thank you for your compassion, leadership, and support. You have made and continue to make a significant impact. For all this and more, we are deeply grateful.
