Camp Hebron: A Time for Relaxation, Connection, and Joy
Why do you go on vacation? For many of us, vacation is a chance to relax, unwind, and experience something new. The same is true for consumers in our Mental Health Services. Each year, they go to Camp Hebron to experience horseback riding, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, games, campfires, nature walks, and fishing. This serene, peaceful setting offers countless opportunities for fun and relaxation. As Karen Roland, Program Coordinator of New Beginnings, says, “Everyone deserves a vacation.”
Thanks to the York White Rose Run, our consumers were able to experience the magic of Camp Hebron this year. Hearing the laughter, seeing the smiles, and feeling the joy that radiates from these moments, it is clear why everyone loves this annual getaway. It’s not just a vacation; this is a time when lasting memories are made, connections strengthened, and everyone leaves with a renewed sense of hope and happiness. Here’s to many more years of creating these treasured moments!
