Makala’s Community Hero Project Shines a Light on Bell
Makala, a Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, did a Community Hero Project benefitting clients in our service programs.
Makala is like sunshine on a winter day; she warms anyone’s spirit who is lucky enough to meet her. She is a Scientist at Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories and has an incredible passion for helping others. Makala said, “My goal at the start of the year was to give back. So, I went to our Sustainability Committee with an idea. From here, it quickly started.”
Excited to make a difference, Makala, held a donut sale raising over $600, and a hygiene drive during her two-week Community Hero Project benefiting Bell. The turnout was incredible. She said, “In my pursuit of establishing my non-profit #makshygienepaks, I am using my abilities, talents, and characteristics to help better the lives of others.”
“It is rewarding to help provide integral support to those who face varying insecurities for daily necessities,” said Makala. The donations will greatly benefit clients in our service programs. Thank you, Makala, for heading the project and to every employee at Eurofins who donated. All of you truly are community heroes.
