Diane Krasner Selected for Board of Directors

Bell Socialization Services, Inc. is pleased to announce the selection of Diane L. Krasner, PhD RN FAAN to the Board of Directors.

Diane’s husband, David A. Welber, has served on the Bell Board for a number of years which Diane says, has helped her “understand the great work that Bell Socialization Services provides to people and the community.”

As a supervisor at York Hospital for RN students on the inpatient psychiatric unit, Diane gained appreciation from talking with patients and their families and seeing the challenges they face on a daily basis. “I believe this insight and understanding from a healthcare professional perspective is a unique viewpoint that I will bring to the Bell Board,” she said.

With over 40 years of experience as a nurse, over 35 years of experience as a wound care nurse, and 15 years of experience as a legal expert witness, Diane believes that her experiences and skills will be useful in her role as a Bell Board member.

Diane and Dave have been long-time supporters of Bell including through their Adopt-a-Day at Bell Family Shelter in honor of their wedding anniversary. In her spare time, Diane loves cooking, gardening, reading, caring for her parrot, Sunshine, and is a proud member of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Real Macaw Club.

She holds a Bachelors, Masters, and PhD from the University of Maryland School of Nursing in Baltimore, MD.
