Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony Marks a New Beginning for Bell Family Shelter

We want to thank everyone who attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony at Bell Family Shelter. The day was filled with community, gratitude, and compassion, making it truly special.

Marcella, the Director of Shelter Services, expressed her appreciation, saying, “It has been my greatest pleasure to be part of the Bell family for 32 years and counting. Because of this village, I can say we are not alone. I feel blessed to have seen thousands of families get a fresh start and the resources they need to thrive.”

Tony, Bell’s Executive Director, remarked, “Thank you for the gift of this wonderful new home. Bell is grateful for the many people who helped us get here. Thirty-seven years ago, Bell answered the community’s call to provide an emergency shelter for families experiencing homelessness.”

With emotion, Marcella added, “We are deeply grateful for your kindness towards our fellow York Countians in need and for your generous financial gifts that made this bigger and better shelter possible. We thank you for giving shelter to the thousands of mothers, fathers, and children who will rest their heads at Bell Family Shelter for the next 37 years.”

Yesterday, we launched Bell’s Giving Shelter campaign. Your support is crucial in helping Bell Family Shelter achieve its fundraising goal, allowing us to offer hope and shelter to families experiencing homelessness as they work towards independent living.
