Story of Success Certificate Presented
Congratulations to Diana Aguilar for receiving Bell’s Story of Success award! A participant of New Beginnings, Diana was recognized for her leadership role in the Consumer Cheer Committee, presiding over weekly community meetings, and helping out with Bell’s Sendero program.
“We just feel that she’s a good role model for her peers and shows great leadership,” said program coordinator Karen Roland when presenting the award. Diana states she was surprised to receive the award. “I was shocked,” she says. “I had no words.” Diana says she is grateful for her time in New Beginnings where she has improved her leadership, independence, and communication skills.
Diana received the award at the annual Mental Health Services Family Picnic held at York County Veterans Memorial Park Complex.
